Treatments that set us apart from other practices include the use
of Pulsed Dye Laser for eradication and treatment
of painful plantar warts. The advantage of using the pulsed dye laser
includes no use
of anesthesia and no post-operative pain or open sores. The patient
is able to immediately resume all activities without limitation.
Our offices are one of the few in the Chicago metropolitan area to
have their own Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy machine.
Most practices must take their patients to a hospital or separate
surgical facility. Our patients have access to this most up-to-date
treatment modality in our Lake Forest location.Our Lake Forest location
is an accredited surgical facility, Forest Foot Surgery, where we
are able to perform most surgical procedures in a comfortable, familiar
setting. These procedures include pulsed dye laser for the removal
of plantar warts, extracorporeal shockwave therapy for heel pain and
heel spurs, bunion surgery, and other minor foot surgical procedures.
